What is a Standards Development Committee (SDC)?
Standards Development Committee (SDC) is a committee established under Malaysian Standards Development System for the purpose of development of Malaysian Standards and participation in international standardisation activites. These may include all Industry Standards Committee (ISCs), Technical Committee (TCs) and Working Group (WGs).
SDA@IKM manages ISC B, which covers the scope of Chemicals and Materials including Nanotechnology and Industrial Biotechnology Applications, and all technical committees and working groups under ISC B. There are 31 SDCs under the management of SDA@IKM which comprises of 16 TCs and 15 WGs.
